  • Main responsibilities of the VDS Business Strategy Team:
  • Prepare the Executives with materials and messages for successful interactions with the Embraer Board of Directors (internal environment), as well as with Customers (external environment)
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate the management governance
  • Drive an integrated and positive communication environment with the Business Unit and with all partner areas
  • Prepare and coordinate the execution of Business Unit events, to engage the VDS Team and partner areas
  • Define (create in collaboration with other areas, consolidate, validate) the internal and external Business Strategies, so as to support our sales, revenue, profitability and cash growth
  • Integrate the entire VDS Team in these efforts, communicate and engage, help drive the efforts to areas of concentration and priorities defined by the VDS Leadership
  • Coordinate and integrate business growth projects in Strategic Markets
  • Work together with the Controllership Team on short-medium term Business Results Management and medium-long term Strategic Plans
  • Support the Leaders with Budget and Strategies planning & follow-up
  • Support and follow up on Action Plan execution
  • Support Budget planning and execution for the department and VDS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related areas
  • Full Professional Advanced in English - oral and written
  • Advanced PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel
  • Background Program Management and/or Market Intelligence and/or Business Management

Como será o seu dia a dia:

  • Main responsibility: work independently on processes and/ or projects to support the CEO and the COO (Sales & Business Development) of Embraer Defense & Security (VDS) with their internal and external management responsibilities, as described below in the "Business Details" section
  • Prepare Visibility Materials internal to the Defense Business Unit, to keep the Team engaged and motivated
  • Prepare, coordinate and conduct the events in the Business Unit (Sales Meeting, VDS Summit, Year-End Celebration, etc. - together with Marketing and HR)
  • Build up the Annual Budget of the supported areas, follow-up on the budget execution monthly, provide visibility on the budget performance
  • Track and execute payments of services abroad (utilities, consulting services, etc.)
  • Support the Sales Team with Management and Visibility activities (Sales Plan, Action Plan, Gate Reviews, Training, etc.)
  • Understand management action requirements/ expectations, capture them into structured materials (presentations, spreadsheet simulation models, talking points)
  • Develop and validate these materials with the leadership
  • Set and meet high quality standards for the materials and results produced by the Team and the Business Unit
  • Coordinate/ integrate different areas in the organization and help drive actions to achieve business objectives
  • Facilitate meetings with other areas of VDS (at all levels) and with VDS Executives
  • Coordinate preparation meetings and drive successful interactions of the Teams with VDS Executives
