About Us
Trucking moves the American economy. It is a $1 trillion market, and it still runs on fragmented operations, thin margins, and technology a generation behind. Billor, short for "Bill of Rights," is the only company transforming this market end to end, combining Freight and Technology for Truck Drivers, Freight Brokers, and Small Carriers into a single ecosystem. We operate a fleet of several hundred heavy-duty trucks and run integrated business lines across freight, fintech, and technology platforms.

The position will help ensure timely and accurate purchasing execution while providing visibility into open orders, pending deliveries, and supplier issues. This role will also support the Procurement team with data analysis, reporting, and process improvements, allowing the broader team to focus on strategic sourcing, negotiations, supplier management, and long-term procurement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure purchase requests are processed accurately and on time.
- Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders and supplier orders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs, priorities, and required delivery dates.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery issues.
- Validate pricing, quantities, and commercial conditions before orders are placed.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure procurement data is properly updated in internal systems.
- Monitor open purchase orders and proactively identify delays, discrepancies, or potential supply risks.
- Support invoice and purchasing-related issue resolution in partnership with Finance and Accounts Payable.
- Prepare purchasing reports and provide visibility into spend, open orders, pending deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Support sourcing and procurement projects with data collection, RFQ preparation, price comparisons, and supplier follow-up when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce manual work, and increase procurement efficiency.
- Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies, approval workflows, and procurement controls.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related operational role.
- Experience managing purchase orders, suppliers, and day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort working with procurement and business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proactive mindset and ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment or startup is a plus.
