FCamara is looking for a Mid Backend Engineer to design and evolve scalable backend systems within a modern .NET ecosystem. You will work on customer-centric platforms involving onboarding workflows, orchestration, and integrations across internal and external systems within a microservices-based architecture.We are looking for candidates located in Portugal or the United Kingdom, due to the time zone alignment with the client.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesBuild and maintain backend APIs and services using C# and .NETWork within a clean architecture and microservices-based ecosystem using UseCases, repositories, and domain entitiesDesign and implement backend workflows and REST APIsWrite maintainable, testable, and production-ready codeParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsWork with SQL databases, Entity Framework, and transactional workflowsCollaborate with frontend engineers on multi-step workflows and API contractsRequisitos e qualificações3+ years of backend engineering experienceStrong experience with C# and .NETExperience building REST APIsGood understanding of clean architecture or layered architectureExperience with Entity Framework, SQL, and relational databasesFamiliarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and microservices-based systemsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsFluency in EnglishNice to Have:Experience in banking, fintech, CRM, or onboarding platformsUnderstanding of concurrency, idempotency, and workflow orchestrationExperience with distributed systems and cloud-native servicesInformações adicionaisFully remoteMultinational, multicultural team - collaborate with talented engineers across different backgrounds and geographiesReal challenges and ownershipElegibility: Due to legal requirements, candidates must hold a valid EU passport or work permit for Portugal (if based in Portugal) or UK passport/work permit (if based in the UK).
